Wooden poles (pine timber) are widely used in the installation of telecommunication and electricity networks. Pine wood is in fact the perfect material for such infrastructures: It is light, elastic, yet extremely resistant, easy to handle and unlike steel poles, it is not subject to rust or decay, and therefore absolutely maintenance free.

For decades, Karambois has been teaming up with Scantrepo (Finntrepo factories), the world’s leading producer of poles, to supply telecom and electrical networks across Lebanon and the Middle East. We have acquired an extensive experience not only in the product itself, but also in advising governments and private companies on the most adequate specifications for each project.
