Origin: North America.
Uses:
Cedar is most commonly used for exteriors building, given its high resistance to snow and difficult climate conditions.
Characteristics:
Even though light in weight, the cedar is a very durable wood. It has a close grain, doesn't absorb paint very well and dries slowly.
